ITEM’s Associate Program – Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is ITEM’s Associate Program?

A. It’s a relationship between ITEM and approved web sites – you put links to ITEM on your site, and for each person who clicks on the link and then orders the Resonant Field Imaging™ system or ITEM’s Professional Development Series, you earn a commission.

Q. How does it work?

uses the Microsoft bCentral affiliate software to manage the Associate Program. This independent third-party system does all the tracking, 24 hours online reporting and paying.

Q. How do I get started?

A.  Step 1: Click Here to go to ITEM’s Associate Program page.  Then, click on the “Join Now” button at that page.
Step 2: Sign in using your existing bCentral account information, or if you do not have an account with Microsoft bCentral, you need to create a new account.
Step 3: If you do not have an account, complete the application on bCentral.  This will give them the information they need to track visitors from your site to ITEM’s, and to mail you payments.
Step 4: When you have completed the application, click on “Place a link for each of the programs that you have joined today.”
Step 5: Click on “How to Link.”
Step 6: Select the type of link you want to display on your site (i.e., either ITEM’s banner or a text link), have the HTML code emailed to you if you want, and then cut and paste the code into your web page.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. You can be an ITEM Associate for free. Simply complete the sign up process, choose the banner or text link, place it on your site, and start making money!

Q. How much will I get paid?

A. For each person who clicks on an ITEM link on your site, then orders the Resonant Field Imaging™ system or ITEM’s Professional Development Series (PDS), you are awarded a commission.  The commission structure is as follows:

Resonant Field Imaging™ – $25 per referral sale.

PDS, Step 1 – $10 per referral; PDS, Steps 1 & 2 – $20 per referral; and PDS, Steps 1, 2 & 3 – $30 per referral.

Q. When do I get paid?

A. Microsoft handles all payments to you; you are automatically paid by check every month on the 15th as long as the balance owed to you is $25 (US dollars) or more.

Q. What sort of web sites qualify?

A. The web site where you want to post ITEM links must be approved by ITEM and bCentral before any money will be paid for new sales. Your site will be reviewed as part of the application process. ITEM reserves the right to refuse membership to a site at any time if ITEM deems it objectionable or if it links to objectionable material.

Q. Are internationally based web sites eligible?

A. Yes! Withdrawal checks are made out in US dollars. All affiliate accounts need to provide either an individual social security number or a federal tax id number. This information is encrypted and kept confidential. For your safety, you will have to provide this information in order to modify your mailing address.

Q. Can I put the links on other pages in my site, or on a completely different site?

A. You may put the ITEM links on any page that you own, provided the page or web site is in accordance with the Microsoft bCentral agreement you agree upon sign up.

Q. Where is ITEM’s banner?

A. ITEM’s banner is available by logging into your bCentral account and clicking on “Manage Advertisers.” Next click “How to Link” next to the ITEM name. ITEM’s banner will be available on that page.

Q. How do I change or cancel my account info?

A. If you wish to cancel your bCentral account, please send an email to [email protected] with your account ID and/or email address. Refunds (if appropriate) are processed once a month, on or around the 15th.

Q. How do I change my mailing address?

A. To change your mailing address, log into your bCentral account and select the “Edit Address” link in the left-hand column.
